There’s a reason why you don’t fill scrapbooks with expensive, perfectly posed, “say cheese” images. Those are for facebook and fancy frames that gather dust in the corner. Instead, a scrapbook should be about sitting on your bed and once more getting to hold onto the things that you can no longer touch. It should make you laugh and cry and say, “Hey, look at this, this is your great-great-grandpa.”
This is about remembering what you didn’t think was worth remembering.

THE
Photographs are how we learn, how we empathize, how we remember. This is not the pursuit of products on a wall but the pursuit of love, of experience. Photography is how we understand and comprehend the immensity of loss, the impermanence of light, of being. Photography is how you can sit in your car in a parking lot, look at a little picture in your wallet, and understand how immeasurable photons encapsulate colossal monuments. Photography is the notion of beauty. Without photography you will forget the brief, seemingly inconsequential, the feeling of sunlight or rain on a particular day, the scratch of your dog's claws, the brush of lips from your soulmate, the look of light flares, and the smell of fresh mountain air. Without photography we lose the last moments with our loved ones and saying goodbye to our dogs- we lose the ugly and the hard and the bittersweet and the beautiful and the sincere and the meaningful.

For those who want a real adventure worth writing about.
Ever wanted a photographer to follow you around to stunning over looks, national parks, little roadside dives? Well guess what, you've found your gal.
Want to skip spending thousands on a big wedding and turn it into a cinematic adventure with a lifetime of stories? Elope on a road trip and don’t tie yourself down to just one location. I’ll photograph you gettin’ hitched in Palo Duro, snagging dinner from a Route 66 dinner, and dancing in the desert. Let’s hit up The Smoky Mountains, run through Gailtinburg and grab the BEST crab legs in TN (trust me, I know a place), and end the night sipping moonshine in the back of your pickup truck.
Don’t know how to plan a road trip? I’ve got you. I can be as hands on (or hands off) as you’d like in this department. I’m an experienced road-tripper and know all the ends and out of creating your dream route with all the serendipity and sudden adventure that comes from running the roads.

Absolutely not. I travel constantly- I bring my rural roots, family ties, and cowboy boots with me though. That’s part of who I am and what inspires me.

Everyone will get an online gallery with printing rights. You can also purchase prints from me, have me craft photo albums, or add on a polaroid package and film package for some day of physical copies.
Hell. Yes. Let’s do it. Let me photograph you kissing, fixing up your old car, naked in the woods, in the tub in a desert, milking cows, raising goats, kissing chickens, cooking by the ocean… let’s do everything. Anything.
Before you book we'll hop on a 15 minute video call to make sure we get along, our styles align, and I can make an impact with your work. After we book we'll get on a long call to really dive into what we're going to create and work on together.
The ONLY reason this would occur would be completely and entirely out of my control. While I’m not legally bound to do so I will try my best to find a photographer who I trust to take over for me. If I can’t attend- which would only occur due to an act of god, illness, or death- I will refund your entire session cost.
In a way- So, I won't be designing any logos or fonts, however- we will be diving deep into your sound, themes, motifs, and who you are as musicians. This is a lot more than just some images to post or share on social media- this is a full exploration into your work.
I don’t have a set amount of images that I send. I send you as many as I deem worthy. I don’t withhold images for an upcharge or nix them just because they don’t meet a “postable” standard. These are your memories, I am simply the curator of them.
Yes, please! I would love to host you, meet you, and conduct our session on my little slice of heaven, grab some local coffee, and Mexican food at the only sit-down spot in town.
Portraiture is often what people see before they ever interact with your music. Quality equals authority. Music and Photography are irrevocably intertwined. Know More.
Ditch the awkward, posed, cira 2009 band poses and opt for something real, poignant, and worthy of representing your voice.
Photography and music are almost synonymous in the industry- each represents and inspires the other. I have a step-by-step process to perfectly imbue your unique voice through my work to represent not only you, but your musical legacy.
"Before the Camera, the first thing that I noticed about Koda was just how damn comfortable she made me feel. I mean, I'm an uncomfortable person by nature. I don't know how to stand, or how to pose, or even act in these situations. Photoshoots just feel so unnatural normally. I can actually feel my skin in the moment, but she made me feel safe. I was able to get out of my head and just enjoy the session with her. I couldn't ask or even think of a better person to be with, and that's just talking about her as a person. After the camera, I realized just how talented she is as a photographer. She has so many gorgeous photos online of her other sessions, but part of me just couldn't believe anything beautiful could be made from photos of myself. I was wrong. God, was I so wrong. I don't know how she does it. Whether it's black magic, or sacrificial offerings, or just a really good eye, nonetheless what she is able to create with her camera is something special. And it is completely unique to her. It's funny. When we were talking about the session beforehand, she was joking about falling in love with me, but in the end I think I was the one who fell for her and her work. It's next level. BOOK HER!!!"
